New Order on Gas Appliance Safety Issued by Ministry of Industry and Commerce
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced the publication of Order No. 1616.22, which focuses on the safety of gas appliances and equipment. This new regulation has been officially published in Official Bulletin No. 7310 on June 20th, 2024, and will come into effect on December 20th, 2024.

- Economic operators will establish a CMim declaration of conformity (including testing / available conformity documents). This declaration will follow the model annexed to the order and be accompanied by comprehensive technical documentation.
- Conformity Marking:
- In addition to the declaration, the conformity marking will be affixed to all gas appliances and equipment to ensure they meet the prescribed safety standards.
